The Paleolithic Diet is based on eating food that is food at the beginning, Meaning, there is no need to mix it, concoct it, add several ingredients to turn it into something else or anything. It is what it was. You do not have to add 15 ingredients together to make a steak. You do not have to mix a dozen ingredients together to make a potato, a potato is a potato. The problem with most of the foods sitting on store shelves, 95% of the were made into what it is now representing. Breakfast cereal, bread, pasta, ice cream and so many other family favorites are nothing but concoctions.
On the Paleo diet, the focus is on eating food as it was when it came into the world. [/font][/font]
