When I lost weight, I did my own version of the Keto diet. I lost my weight before I even heard of Keto. I started out small. I knew I had to drastically cut my calories and the amount of food I ate so, I did not eat in the morning until I felt hungry. Usually a little before noon I would eat my usual foods. This went on for about one month and I started to challenge myself and I would go as long as I could before I ate my meal. Usually at 4PM and I did not over eat, I just ate a regular meal and I ate again at 8PM. After a month, I would eat at 6PM and again at 9PM and I would not eat again until 6PM the next day. I eat late because I go to bed late, very late. This worked for me and I lost so much fat and weight after five months that I has to gain about 10 pounds to fill myself out a little. This is what worked for me. It may or may not work for you.
