Don't Try to Do Too Much at the Beginning
Meditating may seem like something that is so serious it can only be done correctly by those who are on a different level or those who have special meditating powers. Thank goodness, that is true. Even though it is simply, don't try to do too much at the beginning or you may become discouraged.
Anyone can meditate, no matter how you choose to do it. We have all seen the photo of a person meditating who is sitting on the floor, or in in the middle of a grassy field with their legs in a bow and their fingers on their knees, forming a perfect position.
These images have made a lot of people think they cannot or do not want to meditate. Some people cannot even get their legs to form a bow. Some people cannot get down on the floor to get started meditating.
You do not have to do any of that, if you don't want to or if you can not do it. You can meditate anywhere you want, as long as you are not disturbed and are able to keep you mind focused and free of distractions.
So, start small. If you have to sit in a chair, on the side of your bed, or anywhere you are comfortable, start meditating. Learn how to meditate properly by reading about or by asking questions. There are a lot of videos that can help you. So, get started.

Instead of trying to do formal meditation, where people sit 'professionally' and perfectly in the lotus position, try to pay attention to what one breath feels like. Breathe in and notice everything you feel, the sensations that come over you. Breathe out and do the same. Feel the sensations of one breath flowing into and out from your body. Notice the sensations in your nostrils, your shoulders, your rib cage, your belly, your toes and try to feel your soul. Concentrate on just your breath, one at a time. Soon you will be able to easily accomplish this. Then, concentrate on two...then three... www.livequantumly.blogspot.comwww.keto-right.blogspot.comwww.pinterest.com/ItsForChristmas/
